Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she clinched gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal in the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast of the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The gold medal was hers during the team competition of the 2016 Olympics this allowed her to become the Gabby Douglas first Americans to earn back-toback gold medals. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals in the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. She took a break of three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at 2 World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at the age of two and she has a favorite activity exercises on the floor. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honour of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue one in the fashion industry and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce, a new book she's currently working on, will release later in the year.
